Positivism- A Choice?

Being positive i believe is a choice all of us have in our hands. One we have decided to be positive, our future life will be directed in that direction.

There are friends i know that are super negative, some who are super positve. The difference in their life can be seen significantly.

We all need to have positive people around us. I have many positive and cheery friends around me. There is this someone that is very positive in his view of life as well. He will always find opportunities to be happy, life greatest aim is to be happy. There are times whereby he will be upset, but after a short while he will pick himself up. Something i find courageous about him is that he CHOOSE to pick himsef up from dscouragement and not to be indulged in it. That by itself is a form of boldness and courage. While hanging out with him, i learnt a lot. Being happy, is by itself a choice.

You can give someone positive encouragement and positive feelings about themselves by using positive statements when talking to them. Try them on someone!

  1. I like you!
  2. I'm glad you're here today!
  3. I'm glad you're in my den!
  4. I thought of you during the week.
  5. I think you're neat!
  6. Nice job!
  7. I knew you could do it!
  8. Super!
  9. I'm proud of you!
  10. Fantastic!
  11. I like the way you did that.
  12. Thank you for helping.
  13. Wow!
  14. You must of been practicing.
  15. I can tell you really worked on this.
  16. Way to go!
  17. That was the best ever!
  18. Sensational!
  19. That's right!
  20. You figured that out fast.
  21. Now you've got the hang of it.
  22. Great!
  23. You're really sharp today!
  24. Outstanding!
  25. Good thinking!
  26. You really used your brain.
  27. Bravo!
  28. I'm glad you thought of that.
  29. You're on the right track now.
  30. You are a good listener.
  31. That's really interesting.
  32. We had a really good day!
  33. I was proud to be with you on the trip.
  34. Excellent!
  35. You are so creative!
  36. I like the way you handled that.
  37. You have really improved.
  38. Good idea!
  39. You are so creative!
  40. I would never have thought of that.
  41. You're a good team member.
  42. I like being with you.
  43. I couldn't have done better myself!
  44. You out did yourself today!
  45. You make it look so easy!
  46. Don't give up, you've almost got it!
  47. You're really working hard today.
  48. Keep on trying.
  49. You're learning a lot.
  50. You make my job fun!

Words can kill but words can also heal. One kind word will make someone day but one bitter word will ruin the self-esteem of one. Pastor Kong once said when you say one bitter word to someone, it will takes you to say 60 kind words to makeup for that 1 bitter word!

The bible says that words is like the rudder of a ship. Though small by it can control the entire ship.

No matter what situation we are in, let's find reason to be positive in every situation possible.

Hi all.. have not been posting for a long time.. Some things i find interesting.. Why the sky is blue?? Why the clouds are white.. Someone explained to me patiently the answer to my question.. Sometimes when one get busy with life, they tends not to take a good look at the inheritance of the nature that they have around them..

The nagging of parents sometimes will also seems like a tiresome thing that can ever happen to them.. Then i realized, this is what life is all about..

So people, when u are one busy soul here.. learning to stop and look around is one of the greatest gift you can have for yourself...

What is success to you?
Does success means a good looking girl friend, a rich husband, a branded sport-car, a mansion, lots of levis jeans, branded clothings ?

True success in life is when one is able to affect others positively in life.

One advice for those reading my blog-
"You won't get any credits in life for being busy"

How to treat a Man?
"Treat the man as he appears to be and you make him worse. But treat a man as if he already were what he potentially could be, and you make him what he should be." - Goethe

Today post is titled: All About Quotes

Being truthful to yourself may be a freedom set-free for some of us. At times, even us ourselves are denying and witholding some truth to ourselves- intentionally, purposefully, so that we may live a day as a day, breathe a breath as a breath.

I was reading this article at oprah.com. As u can see from the link's name, its a Oprah Winfrey's web page. Personally, i find her life inspiring.

There is this article that named "The secrets you're not telling yourself" by Martha Beck.

Some abstracts from the article:

<"What we resist persists." The further we withdraw from difficult issues, the more likely they are to spill out. The only way to keep this from happening is to go spelunking in our own forbidden, forbidding depths. >

Consciousness holds only a small fraction of the things we know and feel. Beneath this tidy space lie the subconscious and unconscious levels of thought—cavern systems containing hidden labyrinths and spooky creatures. It's a place most of us avoid, pushing away dark thoughts in a process known as repression.

To figure out whether you may benefit from mental cave diving, take a quiz at http://www2.oprah.com/spiritself/omag/ss_omag_200503_repressionquiz.jhtml.
